Plot is overly simple and not much happens.
Having said that, I loved Hell or High Water.

It's a straight-forward and relatively realistic crime drama/murder mystery/thriller. I'm glad there wasn't some absurdly unbelievable "twist," like in the final act of "Along Comes a Spider." If the same writer of that movie wrote this one he would've had Jane (Olsen) emerge as a lesbian rapist in league with the security guards at the drill site (rolling my eyes).

As far as I’m concerned, some films don’t need to rely on a superior plot in order to be outstanding and captivating (ducks). This is one of them.

This one didn't need a huge, complex plot. Great movie. Well worth checking out.

I thought it was well done - I hope Renner gets a nomination.

If you want plot, watch an 80s porno.

Seriously? What a dumb ass comment.

Not all movies don't need a plot where a lot happens. The more they do that, the more that increases the chance for plot holes and stupid characters.

Light on plot, but decent when it comes to acting and realism.
I thought it was all right - there is no need for everything to be game of thrones with twists and turns at every angle.

I agree wholeheartedly

Kinda cinematic... Light on plot, heavy on mood and atmosphere 😉
