Phone won't let me watch the video. Was it any good? I had tickets to see this in salt lake and missed my showing, im pretty pissed about it.

Of all the movies I have seen at Sundance, this is hands down my favorite. I was not sure Taylor Sheridan could live up to 'Hell or High Water' (one of my favorites of 2016), but this movie was superior in every aspect. See it AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

There's the rub. When, where will this film be available?

Tell me, as a Jon Bernthal fan, is it worth it?

reply

Jon Bernthal does not have a huge part in this film, that being said he has a very critical part to the story. His scene completely ratchets up the intensity and hit me like a ton of bricks. It shows true talent if you can make your audience feel that way from a single 5 minute scene. One small moment in particular involving him was a total shot to the heart. You may wish he had more screen time if you are a huge fan of his, however I think he was absolutely perfect for the part he was given and I can't imagine any actor doing better than he did. Wouldn't dare spoil anything but get very excited.

Thank you so much! Your response was detailed but didn't spoil anything, much appreciated. I'm not surprised that he was able to convey such intensity in a small amount of time; the talent he has is undeniable and completely captivating.

This and Get Out sound like they will be awesome.

Sounds like too that a shootout in the movie is legendary.

Haven't had a chance to see Get Out.:( Don't know if they will post any more screenings for it but am keeping an eye out as a fan of Jordan Peele. The shootout you reference in Wind River is without question the most thrilling sequence I have seen in a movie in some time. I literally forgot to breathe. The hype is real. This movie is superior to both Sicario and Hell or High Water which were both utterly brilliant.
