Had stop watching this tripe 25 mins into it, when it becomes clear that, once again, the bad guy is a foreigner.
This happens again and again in American movies. Is this to convince the paying public that there exists no evil within the borders? That all outsiders are bad?
This rather outdated view of the world is beyond the normal xenophobic, jingoistic and tribalistic claptrap coming out of the US. Even with maniacs such as Trump on the lose, you can't really believe this shi t?

Hollywood does this because Americans think British isles, Irish, Australian accents are sophisticated (not sure why) and make the characters more interesting.

By the way, some of the gang happened to be American. Not everything in the world is politically motivated. Cheers mate

The bad guy is a foreigner and from this you get the massage that this means:
"No evil exists within the borders [of the US]"
"ALL outsiders are bad."

It' YOU who are bigoted, jingoistic and a purveyor of claptrap. Your are just whining about Americas, and using a double strawman, which is to say a complete logical fallacy to do so -- which is bigoted on your part.

there are hundred of movies TV shows made in the US where the bad guy or gal is American. And does the fact that there are also plenty non US films with Americas villains prove that Europeans or non Americans thing no evil exists within their borders.

By the way, you want to see xenophobia? go to Europe. Or better yet, england
