Watched the first season...SNOREFEST

The only times it ever got good were when Barry was dealing with the Chechens or just flat out displaying his assassin skills. The addition of Taylor and his buddy was also a good idea, but the areas the entire show fell flat was the constant harping on the acting class, it took a lot away from the whole show and made it just plain boring.

I always hated this main actor

I watched 5 episodes and gave up. The actor seemed to be doing a comedy impersonation of Colin Hanks and the character was nothing: flat and uninteresting. They should have just hired Colin Hanks. Henry Winkler was the only good thing and he was killing it but not enough to carry the show. I've heard it inexplicably described as hilarious.

Barry is an excellent show. Everyone does a fantastic job. I am truly shocked that anyone who watched it wouldn't like it. Both seasons are very well done and I anxiously await the next.

Bill Hader is in the top ten of great talents to come out of SNL. He knocks this out of the park. (who doesn't know who Hader is?)

The 2nd season was much better, imo

Just recently finished the first two seasons & I absolutely agree on the point of the acting class & Sally character in general dragging the show down. I find the acting class stuff to be redundant and boring filler. Same goes for the Sally character who is self centered, unlikable, & boring. The only thing that keeps my attention is Barry's dealings with the criminal underworld.
