BBC confirms second series

The BBC have (finally) officially confirmed that they have ordered a second series of "Tracey Ullman's Show". The show drew positive reviews from the press and did well in the ratings despite being broadcast after 10:30pm.

It was widely reported that the BBC had taken the unusual step of entering into negotiations with Tracey Ullman about a second series before the first episode of the first series had even been broadcast.

Great! No doubt they'll demand that it be given a primetime slot. Tracey was the one who didn't want to wait until the spring for a better time slot. Now for HBO to announce their airing of season one this year...

Hopefully she'll ditch the current writers and hire new decent ones.

Agreed. Really wanted to like this but it lacked any sophistication and subtlety, I'm surprised it has been renewed.

I am rather surprised it was renewed.

It's that man again!!
