I missed the end of the episode, the phone rang so I didn't see why she ended in court.

If still hasn't told us why she ended up in court, but my person suspicion is that *POTENTIAL SPOILER* her affair guy is going to murder the rapist, then she will get arrested for it. We saw her ask her affair guy to "warn him off" when talking about the rapist, but I think he will murder him. He was in that house an awful long time while she was waiting in the car.
