Interesting show. ......

I just stumbled across this show and checked out the first 2 episodes. Part of the basic plot is a tried and true cliche where a mega corporation that also has a dark agenda. Another cliche is the hero who has a dark secret in his past who also dislikes technology but ends up with a extremely advanced android like Rick Deckard in Blade Runner, or Ross Sybillus in Armitage III. Then you have Loser, he is painted as a vilian but looks like a anti-hero character whose agenda appears to parallel our hero's, but here it follows his own path. The show has a dark old school look to it. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for Kyoma's dark past to be revealed, and what secrets are hidden in Mira's programming and memories. Mira follows the classic more human than human android character. It was said that Mira's brain is partly biological, which makes me wonder if her father Dr.Yurizaki may have implanted his daughter's brain into an unfinished android chassis he and his wife had been developing (think Cat Girl Nuku Nuku) and Mira is basically his daughter reborn in an android body. It will be interesting to see how this show develops. I am an old school anime fan,so I have seen many both good and bad shows come and go. I will reserve judgment until I see more episodes.
