Why?

Hey I loved the show as a kid but my question is why bring this back as a movie? Why not bring back the show and if you want to really turn up the nostalgia factor why not have adults on who were fans of the show when they were kids? I feel like one it is exactly what people want and you can milk if for way longer.

Nickelodeon has had very uneven results with updated versions of its 90's game shows.

The updated version of GUTS tanked, despite the fact that it borrowed heavily from the original series and was recorded at Universal Studios Florida on sound stages very near to the former Nickelodeon Studios complex.

The updated Figure it Out did fare better than GUTS, but, today's kids are different than their counterparts that grew up during the 90's.

Google "90's Kids" and some of the results (choose Images) are pictorial differences between kids then and kids today. Today's kids are more likely to be gaming online rather than watching game shows on TV.

people dont care about game shows anymore, plain and simple. Nickelodeon was diseased with them in the 90s, and it worked with all its imagination, todays stuck up society isnt willing to go with that kind of flow
