Whose story got to you the most?

For me, I think it's Marissa. She was the most honest and real about her situation. She also made an effort to not hurt others with her addiction.

The ratio of people to cake is too big.

Arianna Sheedy. I can't help thinking that participating in the documentary led to her relapse. She was doing so well, and focused on her children.

I felt badly about her, because having stayed clean for three years, it seemed like she was devoted to a new life and (I would think) very active in a 12-step program.

Still, if someone doesn't care about their own life, of their kids' lives...is it really a loss that they're gone? At least the crime rate goes down a bit and there's less of a drain on ERs, etc.

arianna and marissa were the 2 most likeable people in the whole doc, and it seems like such a cruel twist that they didn't make it

and i never thought about how arianna's involvement in the doc could have led to her relapse, but it does make sense and makes the whole situation even sadder

When you see it revealed that Marissa died, that hits you the most because she's the one who's personality came through the most and clearest, and as the most honest.

"Oh I went there, bought a house, moved in b*tch, and now I'm remodeling the kitchen."
