There are some incredibly similar plot points and twists, some scene-for-scene looking at this movie and "Unstable" (2012). Right down to dialogue and scene placement.
Either way, enjoyed both movies!

Not similar. Remake. A company called Hybrid deals movies directly to Lifetime and LMN. They own the rights to the story that they bought in 2012 and made Unstable with. They didn't like how Unstable turned out, especially the male lead. They liked the story, got a new director, better actors, and randomly threw in 2 D list actors with about 5 minutes of screen time. Also wanted to go in the path of their new-age catalog "The Wrong __" "The Perfect __", etc.
shareI saw Unstable too. The lead actor Ivan somebody is a creepy dude. I liked this version better. I like just about anything Eric Roberts is in. He is hysterical in the stalking Doctor movies!!
