Proof that Slenderman is an excuse, not a motive

The girls said they were sacrificing Peyton and becoming proxies to save their families from Slenderman, right? Well, they didn't succeed in sacrificing Peyton or becoming proxies and yet were not concerned at all about whether their families are now at the mercy of Slenderman. I mean, if you honestly thought your family was in danger and the only way to save them was by murder, wouldn't you be freaking out after you found out you failed? They KNEW there was no danger and that's why there is no concern for their family. It's all an act. I don't care what they are diagnosed with, the fact that they planned a murder, AND a defense, proves that they were fully aware of what they were doing. I think the only factor any diagnosis plays in this is in giving them the delusion that they could pull it off.

Unless Peyton can testify that they knew Slenderman wasn't real, I'd assume the state will cut a deal with Anissa to testify to this against Morgan. We'll see.

I get that vibe that they didn't really believe it either. The way they talk about slenderman it's not like they believe it themselves.

reply

I also agree with you and there's so many things they said or didn't say. Both girls also threw each other under the bus to save themselves. I also don't believe the girl is schizophrenic, I think that's Doctors asking leading question's and her not knowing what answer they want to hear so gave them anything.

My opinion is Anissa was jealous of Morgans friendship with Bella and maybe Bella and Morgan had some sort of falling out at one time and Morgan never let go of it. So hence they sort of conspired together to make Bella pay. Anissa wanted Bella dead and both girls even admit as much.

At 12 your not stupid and both girls even knew they would be in trouble for doing what they did. If they truly believed in Slenderman they wouldn't have cared as they would have been under Slendermans protection.

reply

No kidding.
Morgan was more scared of rotting in prisonthan of Slenderman and Anissa wasmore interested in know who far they walked before caught "because [she's] usually not athletic and wants to know how FAR it really was"

I'm being extremely clever up here and there's no1 around looking impressed! What's the point in having you all? DrWho

reply

You make some great points and even help disprove the mental illness theory.

Anissa not once asked about the victim, Morgan shook her head like she couldn't believe they sent bella to the hospital. Neither girl blamed slenderman out right. Both girls would have known SM was fake by all the loking up they did, youtube and it's comments and no telling other what other visited sites in search of SM.
I also read somewhere SM only kidnapped children not protected children, nor did SM ever threaten ones family.

reply

Kids are not good at lying. I believe they believed it all.

Kids are not good at lying

Yeah, I'd say these two girls are pretty bad at it.

I believe they believed it all

I'm sure you do. If a sizable percentage of the population weren't gullible fools, there would be no Bernie Madoffs or Las Vegas, so hats off to you my friend.

reply

And if half of America were a**holes like you, Trump would be President of the most powerful nation on Earth. Oh, wait...

These two girls are older than their years. They have a vocabulary of words that many adults don't even use. They knew exactly what they were doing and people are whining about these two little monsters. They are a danger to society.

reply

I noticed there vocabulary, articulation in using those words and in the right places with correct meanings. I told myself well there's the internet now a days and they did a ton of reading searching the net.

Why I say if there fascination with SM like the girls protayed it to be there's no way they didn't seek out everty tid bit of info on SM. So they had to know that in 2009 people were saying it was fake and he came from a photoshop contest.

reply

There are plenty of kids who absolutely believe in this Slender Man nonsense, despite it being a well-known fact that he was created in a Photoshop contest. Just look at the comments on the creepypasta wiki page. Some kids are acting like he's a real thing even though others are screaming at them that he's fictional. They choose to believe anyway. They should have touched on that more in the doc. One expert they were interviewing was talking about how just believing in this stuff made them feel somehow important or part of a club.

Of course, this creepypasta crap didn't cause them to go nuts and stab a poor girl. There's something very wrong with both of them. Some people are arguing that they're just cold-blooded killers rather than suffering from any schizo-affective disorder. I can't say for sure because I'm not a mind reader. All I know is I certainly wouldn't want to sit on a trial in this case. Yikes.

Here's another case of a kid taking it too far:

reply

I don't see anything remotely claiming SM is real by kids. I see that 99.9% of it's users know creepypasta is fictional stories. I see some users being sarcastic saying SM is real while I see some jokingly saying he is real just to further tbe story. I see an extremely few who say he could be real and think he might be real.

Read Toolen's post.

Now after all those people claiming he's not real, creepypasta being a site for fake stories and users telling users to chech the pasta files or whatever. Those girl's know and knew he wasn't real.

Toolen sums it up pretty good.

Hey, I don't feel this creepypasta crap is to blame for these actions anymore than heavy metal lyrics, D&D or whatever else parents have been hysterical about over the years. I'm just saying that I've seen posts on that page from kids who seem to be acting like they believe this to be based on some truth. Maybe they're roleplaying - I would hope so - but the Admins have even warned them about it:
http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Slender_Man?page=8#comm-326135

You could be right. Maybe these girls weren't delusional at all, but there are some seriously frustrating comments from kids on that site who are trying very hard to believe in it for some reason.

http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Slender_Man?page=10#comm-290217

I'm not saying this led to the stabbing at all! I'm just saying if these girls were delusional, they could make themselves believe this stuff whether they were faced with facts or not. I mean, the mom said Morgan still believed in Santa at age 11?

reply

If you listen to the girls. Morgan states Anissa told her if they didn't kill Bella SM would harm there families. Anissa states that Morgan told her if they kill Bella they could be SM servants.

A cop testifies that Anissa said she wanted to prove SM was real by killing Bella. Both girls admit to reading lots of stuff on SM.

So we know Anissa knows SM isn't real but wants to prove to people he is. Now if Anissa knew that so did Morgan.

Only thing consistent in the girls stories are that it was the other girls idea to kill Bella. They're not even consistent on the story of SM.

From what I read about SM those girls are adding to the SM story.
