WTF? This is a longstanding complaint from Canadians on this board, but seriously, why would Baaz be saying U-S-A, U-S-A! (This was when he "won" the measurement contest.) They are Canadians. From Canada. Oh and Maya was applying to all of these American universities. They have done this for years, rarely ever mentioning Canadian schools. Very few Canadians students go to American universities, yet Degrassi always panders to the American audience. Annoying!
shareThey have like no pride in our country. I think they try so hard to appeal to Americans, in general our society in Canada is like this as well. Always caught up with American news, polotics and lifestyle. They even had a protest here against Donald Trump mean while homeless ppl live on the streets, aboriginal women are gettig kidnapped and murdered, people of color are targeted and margenalized, our liberal goverment is busy spending all our tax money tryig to prove how liberal they are to the world while not taking care of the people here, our dollar is down, jobs are down and yet we cry about the issues facing america. I swear I know more about America than I do my own country because our country is obsessed with them. It's so pathetic.
shareI thought that was very weird too, and this is coming from an American. But then I remembered people saying how this show was Americanized just to pander to the Americans since I guess the audience of them is greater than Canada's audience so it makes sense in a way. This show mind as well be in America.
