By the end of this I was ugly crying

I usually dont get too invested in stuff like this but I had to watch it after getting pressured from everyone saying I needed to watch this film.
The way they teased them passing by each other so many times and not remembering who each other were, it had me at the edge of my seat. I was almost screaming at my tv, SAY SOMETHING TO HER YOU IDIOT!!

Im so glad that the film ended the way it did. It left me completely satisfied. 9/10 and one of the better anime films the past 2 or 3 years

I didn't cry just because I never cry in movies, but this movie genuinely took my breathe away. Something about love across time and space just gets me all misty eyed.Definitely in my top 5 of 2016.

Raging Bull = Best movie

I really really liked the movie, but I dunno, the ending felt a bit rushed to me.

They teased it once or twice before that they would be near each other but not recognize each other. And then all of a sudden they just meet again and this time she actually talks to him. And that's it. I don't know, it felt like something was missing there.

Do you know the movie "Love Exposure" by Sion Sono? It's this 4 hour long movie which basically is also about boy and girl and whether they will get together despite their environment and influences (to put it shortly). That had such an epic feeling to it and "Your Name" had me at a similar emotional state throughout the most part. Maybe that's why I drew comparisons in my mind and, of course, the ending of "Your Name" would feel more rushed than the ending to a 4 hour movie.

Still awesome movie. Of all animated movies of 2016 this is currently sharing my #1 spot with "The Red Turtle". Still haven't made up my mind on which one I enjoyed more. At the moment I'm leaning towards "The Red Turtle".
