Am I the only one that just gave up on x-files for good?

Sorry but after the episodes of a special ends without any ending, and Carter is yammering that he isn't on any schedule to do the next episodes because he has other projects to work on... Well honestly... f(*& him. You don't purposefully end a series on a cliff hanger when you knew going in it wasn't going to be back next season or possibly ever. Count me out on watching any more even if they come back in a couple of years from now, because now I know - Carter has no respect for the viewers whatsoever.
