When does the title start feeling out of place?

They'll play it up with other questioning is ability and what not. A full season of episodes is going to bring in more distance between Kirkman being the HUD secretary and D.S. and now POTUS.

I think they pull off a full season and long term it probably doesn't bode well for the show.

Good question. It will be weird if this show goes until say...five seasons. Though I think people will just get used to it after a while. It will just come to mean how he assumed office as we go forward. Especially if the show airs long enough to have him run for office.

But I have a feeling this show might run out of steam after 2 or 3 years.

That's the thing they only way this show can go is Kirkman being re-elected as president. And unfortunately this is kind the kind of story that could turn viewers off though if it drags.
