Thoughts?

On episode two, and I kind of feel like it's trying too hard to be Fresh Meat. Like its watchable and everything but it's not something I could find myself really enjoying.

Loved episode one... Wasn't as impressed with episode two. Though, it was very funny in parts and some of the physical comedy was really good... I love whatever's going on with Sam and Fred and I'm enjoying Melody's relentless pursuit of Colin. But, it's untidy and - as much as I like Damien Molony - I'm rather less interested in the Anthony / Kate / Lulu triangle... While it does owe rather a lot to various other comedies about groups of young people, there are some good ideas and the cast is fab... As is often the case, the scripts could have done with a bit more work before production began. But, this is likeable, warm-hearted and funny and I'll keep watching.

I thought the first episode was OK, but found myself laughing quite a bit during the second episode. Especially the opening scene.

It's not bad, but it has too much of that patented British Cringe Humor Due To Totally Unrealistic Character Behavior (mainly the Kate character) for me to like the show, so far anyway.

Note to the post-Gervais generation of British Comedy Writers -- CRINGE HUMOR IS THE CHEAP WAY OUT AND NOT ALL THAT FUNNY!

I think episode 3 showed me the direction of this show, which is to rely more and more on the "humor" of discomfort, so I think I'm done now. Some of the acting is good, but the writing just doesn't cut it. Too many other better shows to download and watch instead of this one.

I have continued to watch it, mainly for Damien Molony! However, I wouldn't watch it if he wasn't in it. It is getting a bit silly.

After finding episodes two to four a bit messy and incoherent, I thought five made more sense and was rather good. Though, I could have done without Lulu throwing up in the curry, which was rather "Inbetweeners"... Personally, I'm a big fan of both Damien Molony and Jonathan Bailey... I'm a bit bored of the Lulu / Anthony / Kate love triangle business and find whatever's going on between Sam & Fred and Melody & Colin much more interesting... I'm looking forward to the finale. Though, on the whole, I think it's fair to say that this series hasn't quite lived up to expectations.

Finished episode 6 and really liked it. The dialogue was fast and witty. Enjoyed the character development and I felt the chemistry between the main two. I enjoy that the characters are flawed and that Lulu was unlikable. The writing was clever and made no excuses for her. I also really like how the bromance with the secondary characters was navigated (sorry bad with names). This was a refreshing show but perhaps because it's my first UK show I'm more easily impressed as I have nothing to compare it to. Much smarter than the average American comedies that I usually watch.

Not bad, is there gonna be more or is this the whole series? It sorta just..ended. I can't ever tell with UK shows, they're so short..

I'm a man of few words. Thank you.

It hasn't been announced yet if "Crashing" will return for a second series/season.

My first thoughts were it was a a poor man's copy of Freshmeat. It lacked a bit of heart and originality. There are some new shows (or new to me since i'm from the states) like Uncle, Scrotal Recall, Bubblegum, and Drifters that are quirky but still grounded. Then you have shows like Crashing and Threesome which are quirky but really don't generate the big laugh . I usually left feeling nothing or groaning.

Everyone's sense of humor is different. I think it's hilarious.
