i thought the marriage episode was boring and unfunny but the racism and drug episodes were interesting and quite entertaining. Anyone else find the therapist Dr. David completely annoying and douchey? I'd like to shave his judgemental eyebrows off and smack that smug sh!tty look off of his face.

I thought they were all equally good, but I may be partial to drugs for obvious reasons lol. Obviously, racism had a much meatier topic, and I think she handled it quite well, but she did make some comment about Muslims that kind of ticked me off. Maybe I just misunderstood it? Silicon Valley was probably the funniest, but marriage definitely had its moments. I think I more so liked about Marriage that it gave us a more direct view into Chelsea's psyche and why she is the way she is. The best moment though, by far, was Chelsea on ayahuasca. Not the first time, but the second time when it's just her. And you can tell its hitting her, and she's having good memories and she starts to cry. Yeah. I cried. Tbh lol

1. Drugs
Becuz lolz throughout and tears in the end. Just reminds me that potent hallucinogens have quite a psychanalitic vertue to them.

2. Marriage
Just hit home with this one.

4. SiliCONE Valley
I'm very stupid, thus, I too learnt it was Silicon and not silicone. I was certain it meant the plastic material because it was used in most computer parts, which it isnt.

I because racism delved deeper into the subject - and explored (literally) the matters. Her trips to Israel and the West Bank - where she wasn't afraid to question the wall - was a strong case; while her going to Mexico and then onto reserve probably hit her deeper than just driving around LA with Loni, who I thought was great in her own observations.

1. Racism
I didn't agree with everything she had to say but at least she had things to say and there was a lot of humor and thoughtfulness in a good mix.

2. Silicone Valley
Just found it funny. Not very interesting maybe but I had a pleasant viewing experience anyway.

3. Drugs
Even though I rarely use drugs myself I would legalize everything if it was up to me. I don't have a problem with people doing drugs. The thing is though, I don't care either.

4. Marriage
I already forgot most of this episode. It just felt pointless.

I thought the SAME THING!!!! Talking about marriage makes me uncomfortable. At 18, I thought it was a silly and scary concept and even at 29, I'm feeling the same way. I thought it was a boring episode. The therapist did come off as a bit douchey to me too!!

The drugs episode was amazing. I like that the old panelists were back (Fortune, Dan, Josh) and they had me crying laughing like old times! I went to see Josh Wolf in Myrtle Beach and he picked on me and made fun of my cat! LOL!!!! He was nice enough to take photos with me AND again when I saw him in Fort Lauderdale. My cat Menina says 'whadddap!' btw! HAHA.

Anyway, back to the drugs episode...was anyone else nervous too before they took that drug in Peru?? I was nervous AF and I wasnt even there!! I've only taken one hard drug in my life and I HATED it! Never touched it again! But I was holding my face the entire time watching this scen. When Dan and Jenny were vomiting and Jenny started crying! My heart dropped too when Chelsea did it on her own! What an episode!!

1. Racism

The strongest and most intense moments for me were those when she gave her interviewees space to really expose themselves and their f+cked up mindsets. Simply by witnessing them revealing themselves, she made her point. Her silent listening and sometimes very monosyllabic-bordering-on-acerbic remarks were secretly screaming "W.T.F.???". Brilliant.

2. Marriage

I liked how we got to see her struggling with her insecurities and her wistfulness about being who she is, as a person and as a public persona, and the limitations and obstacles both of these present. She appeared very vulnerable, especially when she was trying to hide it behind her bristling ego.

3. Drugs

It was interesting to witness people for whom recreational drug use seems to be part of everyday life. That's just such a foreign concept to me!

4. Silicon Valley

For me, this was a rather insignificant episode. It was interesting though to find out about the stuff where they try to instrumentalize brain functions in various ways, but in the framework of the Chelsea investigation, it didn't strike home with me.

As I saw it, he was either completely out of his depth with her, or he was quietly, despairingly thinking "OMG, where to start! There are DECADES of therapy waiting to be unleashed here!".
