Tom Lange's reaction to the Rodney King incident?

In the second part of this documentary, when they show the Rodney King beating, what I find disturbing and disgusted was Detective Tom Lange's reaction and justification of what those police officers did?. Lange says: "Story is not a story until there is a conflict", so what does that mean?..did Rodney King's fleeting from the Police justify and excuse the constant beating of a man with bunch of cops with batons?. Yet Mr.Lange was upset and concerned about the beating of "Reginald Denny"?.. the act of beating and cruelty is the same but I guess in Mr. Lange's vacuum distorted reality, it's ok when cops do that because there is a story that caused them to behave that way?...What kind of logic is Mr. Lange following here?

Here is a moron (Lange) who is so set in his thinking and methods by placing a blanket over victim's body and contaminating the crime scene that gave more reasons for the defense team to poke holes into the blood evidence.

I felt the same way as well when watching the documentary. How the hell do you have sympathy and outrage for the Reginald Denny but not for Rodney King? Regardless if he was speeding or high - or the "narrative" - it was excessive and disgusting. No behavior warrants that type of beating that was shown on the tape..

I masturbate a lot 

Yeah, I didn't understand Lange's reaction either. Later on, he said it should have not even gone to trial. I don't see how he could think that was a legal arrest. Fortunately, other LAPD cops weighed in and said the obvious (i.e. that what they did was wrong).

That was really stupid and racist of him, however stop with the contaminating thing, the evidence is still there.

Can you please explain what you mean by this sentence "stop with the contaminating thing"?

reply

contaminated evidence was just oj defense bullshít. Just because dirt falls on something doesn't mean it's forensically contaminated.

Thank you but the reason I asked was to find out what you meant in relation to the thread?...no one mentioned anything about the defense or contaminated on this thread, that's where I was kind of confused. This thread was about Tom Lange's reaction to Rodney King beating, which I found to be disgusting, what he said really devalued him not just as Police officer but a human being who can justify that kind of beating to one man to have a story with Conflict?. He had this self righteous disposition on almost anything that he doesn't agree with which he considers wrong to him. This is the kind of attitude the Public in LA puts up with the LAPD that has lost them respect and credibility.

What I liked most about this documentary, part from the OJ story and history of racism, etc, but the way the director just pointed the camera to the people he interviewed and didn't edit anything out, we heard how Carl Douglas justifies the defense's racial strategy and even be proud of it, then we heard Tom Lang's reaction to RK, many others like Furman with his new BS of what he said, and what I liked most was Marcia Clark's BS to be at one time a public servant and work for the DA and all the footage on her about how the media created all the chaos and how people profited from the trial, how she was fed up with that media, they even showed how she told one camera man "get F out of here" and yet she is now part of the very media that she complained about, she still gets paid for any talk show she get on about OJ trial, she got a book deal and she was working for ET for year as a reporter and now she seats back and points the finger to people like Phong and issues that both her and Darden failed to their home work prior to trial and yet regardless of her mistake and failer, yet she is now joined the very media she complaint about and a celebrity...Lol

I agree but you mentioned contamination.
