So... no Black Widow?
I guess with Mrs. Claus and [formerly Ms.] Captain Marvel there just wasn't enough room for a 3rd woman. [hangs head in disappointment at Marvel animation team]
shareIt's odd considering her voice actress was available. Same with Hawkeye. His voice actor was literally right there, it's Loki's voice.
It's very odd.I suppose it's possible that they may have felt that Black Widow and Hawkeye wouldn't have worked in the story, or maybe it was a corporate order thing, the powers that be wanted to introduce Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel and they thought this would be a good place to start. Carol was probably the best thing about the feature, thanks in no small part to returning VA Grey DeLisle-Griffin, but it would have been nice to see Carol and Natasha interact. Maybe we'll see it somewhere down the line (Carol is supposed to show up next season, whatever the new Avengers such-n-such subtitle is).
