I should have known from the fist minute after seeing all the CGI that this would be a pile of hot garbage. Unfortunately, I am the kind of person that has to watch till the very end. There are much better sword movies out there like Reign of Assassins which made great use of the soft sword that this movie could not.

shareYou have zero ideo what to look out for in a martial arts movie. Though the CGI in this movie is crappy, the action sequences are more realistic than those big budget pseudo Hollywood Wire-fu productions. Tsui Hark is better at this than Zhang Yimou.
sharelol...you thought the martial arts here were done very well? I'll admit, maybe it was slightly above average..but not be much. This movie seemed to have high production values, but that does not really make up for the rest of it.
