Worst Christmas movie ever on hallmark channel

Sadly, your dislike is accurate when speaking of acting. Director’s control of actors is atrocious at times. Delivering is very mechanical, on some faces you can almost read how poorly they are pitched about their movement, reactions, and generally speaking of their presence. Many scenes resemble such mediocre performance, where one would assume they are preparation scenes - at the best!

Sadly they are not! Reactions of some actors while awaiting for their lines is bordering with audition type of reading to group. Some have wooden posture, some are amateurs beyond description. Worst of all, no chemistry, and synergy between characters.

Range of acting and one dimension type of gesticulations and expressions from the two main actors is suited for sitcoms rather then TV movie about Christmas.

Yeah the acting sucked but the story was so much worse.

For me, this ties for "worst" with A Christmas Detour which I also thought had terrible acting and zero chemistry.

I thought the worse ever was last year's one with Anne Heche, where the theme of abandoning an animal was treated like a screwball comedy. That one made me angry.

Yes, it's corny and an unrealistic story with below average acting. But, in times of such divisiveness amongst people, violence, fear, sadness and so much more across the country sometimes this is exactly what I need. A happy, modern fairytale. Nothing less, nothing more. If you don't like it, turn the channel.
