Part of the story in Dirty Dancing was the parents being taken aback by the dancing. That type of Dancing is no longer considered "dirty", so how are they going to shock the parents? By twerking or pole dancing?

Film is set in 1963 long before "twerking." Dancing that was shot was very much from that era. In fact, some of the same music was shot. Not sure how the film will do but personally I thought Colt did a fine job for his first film. I wont argue he was as good as Patrick but those are big shoes to fill after all.

shareI think so. If it turns out be model of the style of the original. One scene I saw from the trailer looks like it copies the tango dance between Johnny, Penny and baby first meets them.
The other shows baby laying on the floor and having her seduction with Johnny like the original.
