Is this the best you can do to represent the civil war? Go watch the BBC, they know what they are doing, not perfect but this is garbage. After working in historical films for 20 years, this is what the Civil War is not. Poor research or none at all is what it looks like. I could do better with what I have in my own storage space. History people watch history shows and I let allot slide but it does not take much to make this period, so well documented be factual and entertaining. Ridely Scott did a number on Gettysburg and now a Canadian company, there were 60,000 Canadians who did fight in the war, is making the greatest loss of American lives look like a circus.
