Never even saw the original German flicks

I've read the reviews dismissing this as a remake of some German flicks, having not seen it, and not having access to anything else, I can only go watch the Spanish and seeek and watch the original on Amazon and then judge for myself.

People got the RIGHT to see the remake, especially if they only heard of it...who all in US even knows of the ORIGIGNAL? I really didn't myself..

I know the german movie.
But I've only seen the trailer and the poster for the mexican remake.
And what I saw was a 1:1 copy of the original movie. They had the same dialogue, the same camera angles, the same color-scheme. Even the poster looks exactly the same as the original.
Hey, the remake is even produced by the same german company, that produced the german movie. So it's not really a mexican remake, but a german company re-shooting the same movie in Mexico with mexican actors.

You're right. That's why I wonder why imdb says it's a U.S. movie (???)
