Harper's island 2.0

Not nearly as good as Harper's in my opinion.

Eh, this show isn't that much like Harper's Island. Harper's Island was at least 50% slasher to go with the soap opera murder mystery. Although in fairness, Harper's Island didn't REALLY pick up the slasher pace until a few episodes in, so I guess this has the opportunity to go there as well, but I really don't expect it. This doesn't seem like a slasher / horror at all, it's almost entirely soap opera murder mystery. Harper's Island is one of my all-time favorite shows, though. This isn't even remotely close (yet, I guess, but I don't expect it to get there either). I am still interested in who the killer turns out to be though, so I'll keep watching. Nothing else on TV this summer anyway.

I'm guessing the killer will be some type of secret illegitimate family relative who was abandoned

01. Harper's Island was pretty predictable. Henry, the character who looked like Norman Bate's evil cousin, was the killer.

02. He was a control freak and paranoid with his girlfriend.
