shareI suspect she'll not tell her husband and terminate out of fear the child will be under the seemingly family curse. In her mind her father was a serial killer, one brother is an addict with a potential
serial killer kid, a lesbian-loving sister, a loner older brother, and a domineering mother. Plus she too has some secret mental affliction that her husband implied. She won't want to bring another troubled Hawthorne into the world.
