Can there be a 2nd season?

I read an article somewhere that said if by some chance it does get picked up for a second season, that it would be an anthology series like American Horror Story. If you don't watch that, or are unaware how it works, they basically cast the same actors, but they play different characters and it's a completely different storyline each season.

I doubt it will get picked up for a second season though. I think a big chunk of the people that watch it only do so cuz there's not really anything else on. Or else they're Banshee fans. Or they're sucked in the way people are that can't stop watching a train wreck.
