Two things I don't get

When Tessa pushed SBK down the stairs, it wasn't that hard of a fall. I doubt a ten year old girl could generate enough strength to do that.
Second, how did Sophie take out the bodyguard?

reply

Well, as we saw later the fall didn't kill him. Could have banged his head hard enough to knock him out, although them mistaking him for dead is a bit far fetched. Sophie muss have used the syringe trick on him too. Would have had to have been a big dose.

reply

You're right, I forgot that. Still, a nefarious killer was overpowered by a ten year old girl.

I think they just really did not clear up a lot of plot holes. I still don't understand why Garrett thought the Father had set him up to be a murderer? That hinted that the parents knew SBK was not dead and would come back alive and they assumed Garrett would kill him.

I don't quite understand that either, because Garrett did kill that man. He really was a murderer (technically self defense).

But from the very beginning, Garrett wanted to go to the police, so maybe in that way, he was upset that they used something that he had done, for their own benefit. When Garrett heard that Morales had been killed by the SBK, he knew that his father had been a "copy cat killer" to get rid of David Morales. (I don't think he ever suspected that his mother was the one that killed Morales.)

I don't really believe that the parents knew the SBK was still alive, or ever intended for Garrett to take the blame for anything. His parents never did anything to frame him.

It was actually things that Garrett did himself that made him look guilty to the police. He kept the ivory handled knife that he used to kill the SBK, and he ran away from home to live in the woods in Maine, right at the same time the killings stopped. And then he comes back and stalks the daughter of the first victim.

reply

I think she may have overdosed him with drugs. A hot dose.

reply

Tessa probably took SBK by surprise, so I imagine even a small push would be enough to take him off balance.

reply

and remember that Sophie/Daria was 11 when she started assisting her father in his avant-garde artistic endeavors.
