FYI to US Posters

I contacted my local PBS channel (Chicago area) and asked if they had any plans to broadcast this show ...

Their answer was "No" ... darn-it.

I would really like to be able to watch it. I'm a big fan of Penelope Wilton. Does anyone have any online suggestions? PM me if necessary. Thanks.

WTTW is a far way from its former glories. I don't believe some of the stuff they choose to show and some of the stuff they choose to ignore. I'm also in the Chicago area, so I feel your pain.

Perhaps you can check with Netflix to see if they may acquire the rights to the program? It's actually pretty amusing, but it's definitely not for kids.

Acorn TV acquired the rights and will add Brief Encounters to their list. If you have an Amazon Prime account, or just a streaming account, you can add Acorn TV for $4.99 a month. I also believe you can subscribe through YouTube.

I watch it on Acorn TV on my Roku; a subscription is either $4.99 / month or $49 per year - which makes it even cheaper!!
If you like this, you will find a lot of stuff you like on Acorn TV!
