How does a movie this bad get produced?

The plot - weak
The execution - a Jr. High drama team would do better
The acting - no words to describe how bad this was
The direction - see above
The scenery was good

This movie insults your intelligence. Might have been better as a comedy.
Trace Adjins - stick to singing. You cannot act
Kris - what happened. Are you nuts
The director - please, fing another profession
Screen write, writers, etc. Are the tool both operators hiring?

trosefl....I agree with you completely except for Trace. He was far and away the best actor in the bunch. A very low bar indeed!

I love a good western. I can even put up with worn out plots and worn out actors (I'm looking at you Kris).

This however is just bad all around.

I couldn't help but flinch every time there was a error in continuity. After a while they became so many it became a game because it's all I was seeing.

and I think I saw the same hat on three different extras.

Sigh...

reply

Talk about continuity, or lack of. Was it my lack of concentration or did that big killer rat that was set to munch through the hero's stomach really magically metamorphose into a sweet little white mouse after said hero's escape?

reply

I agree 100%, every element of this movie was terrible, there was not a single thing to break the horribleness, not acting, writing, settings, makeup, the action, the lighting absolutely nothing.

there were a few laughs! The old man that worked for Trace? haha, he couldn't even say his lines without laughing! Trace trading the daughter for a bell for the fire wagon?! OMG!

I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.

reply

Agree with everything else being said above.

Re: the laughs though ... at one point I actually had the impression it was made as a spoof, given how corny it was!

reply

I disagree, I was kind of relieved when the son died and I didn't have to watch him skip or try to act anymore. So that's one good thing. But it happened so early on I kind of felt robbed of the relief.

He do we get pass the victim character plot. How could any thinking man without the excuse of having a daghter actually care about some stupid naive teenage horndog slut? I can understand why the father would, but the non vagina daughter having honest cerebral audience shouldn't.

It's actually dangerous, but it's like nly a few guys and very few girls get it.

A girl could literally walk naked, shaking her naked ass like a slut in heat, into a room of escaped convicted rapist who haven't seen a woman in years, AND IF EVEN ONE OF THOSE MEN HAPPENED TO BREATH ON HER, she's the fuckin victim, kill aaaaaaaaaallllll the men in the room to save the naked victim shaking her ass, because she's now the victims.

Now, to be fair, the yellow toothed girl, I kinda felt for, she obviously had no choice in her lifestyle, and she was trying to make it.

Sigh... Nm.... All girls are angels and are purdy

Your use of the word "scenery" insults my intelligence. You sound like my Grandma.

on another tangent, curse you for compelling me to google "sotto voce", appropriate usage notwithstanding.
