In order to stand out, a dystopian movie about teenagers needs more than a clever premise. This one does: It presents its most serious scenes with a certain edgyness without using any R-rated elements (that's hard to do). Unfortunately, it's too slow for an 80-minute movie. Since it was made for YouTube Red, the budget wasn't high enough to show many locations (it's more similar to DIE HARD (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItAZrZdllhI) than other movies of the sub-genre you might be thinking of), which usually raises the stakes and/or helps the viewer believe that they're watching a futuristic setting (even if the production design isn't exagerated).

Para poder destacarse, una película de distopía sobre adolescentes necesita más que una premisa inteligente. Esta lo tiene: presenta sus escenas más series con un cierto atrevimiento sin usar elementos para adultos (eso es difícil de hacer). Desafortunadamente, es demasiado lenta para una película de 80 minutos. Ya que fue hecha para YouTube Red, el presupuesto no fue lo suficientemente alto para mostrar muchas locaciones (es más similar a DURO DE MATAR (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItAZrZdllhI) que otras películas del sub-género en las que podría estar pensando), lo que normalmente aumenta el riesgo y/o ayuda al espectador a creer que están viendo un entorno futurista (incluso si la puesta en escena no es exagerada).
