Is this suitable for young children?

There's a lot of Disney/Nickelodeon type actors in this and I was wondering if it's suitable for my kid... There doesn't seem to be an age certification listed. Is there anything to worry about for an 11 year old child?

Yeah I'd say so... in fact I wrote a review just now and the title I wrote (prior to seeing this thread) was 'It's okay... Kinda like a watered down Nickelodeon version of 'The Hunger Games'.

100% agree the only people that could enjoy this garbage would ironically be the 5% that were thinned if the system used in the movie was carried out as it was described to the public.

This is not suitable for children, no. It tells a story of a world where 5% of America's children are executed every year for failing an aptitude test. Does that sound suitable to you?
