What is wrong with her father????

Does she need to be attacked before he will take this seriously he is supposed to protect her and he goes and talks to him and then thinks it's her infatuated with him now he is saying I will talk to him again no do something go to the police wtf just becuz he is "the best doctor" means he can make her uncomfortable and u are just gonna sit back.... I just can't understand this fathers thinking thank god the mother isn't letting it just go cuz "he's the best"
