The Red Eyed Killer.

I'm convinced at this point the killer is Sensei Gaku Yashiro. even though the killer has red eyes and Yashiro isn't a character seen to have red eyes at any point he fits the physical description of the man in the sunglasses and hat from the market and also Sachiko's Killer. He would also have known Sachiko from her son being in his class.

it is his friend blond hair boy my guess.

I think it is Satoru's dad personally... As for why? Who knows?

I think it is himself from the future, trying to prevent himself something horrible that is going to happen in the future.

That would not be possible. Every time Satoru "jumps" to the past, his "future" self stops existing unless nothing is changed in the past.

reply

Satoru's future self does not stop existing, it just exists in the future. This is a classic consciousness time jump, so yes, there cannot be two Satorus, but not for the reason you stated.

My biggest gripe about this show is that they made it unbearably easy to figure out who the villain was. They foreshadowed it way too much throughout the entire series, so when they finally revealed it, it wasn't exactly the huge 'shock' moment that it was supposed to be. Otherwise, that reveal would have been utterly fantastic and chilling.
