Is this actually playing anywhere?

Didn't know this was such a limited release - Alamo drafthouse usually plays movies like that but they're not even playing this. I really wanted to see it in theaters.

I highly recommend you see this film in a cinema.

reply

I wanted to but I don't think it's playing anywhere near me.

It's been screening at the Arclight plex in Los Angeles for several days now. We're going to the midnight show tonight. :-)

Have fun, I live in Texas though lol

The Angelika in Dallas is previewing this this coming Monday night. Don't know about plans for after that, but hopefully it'll have a run somewhere in town.

Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.

I have the same problem as you man. Most of the movies I want to see aren't released where I live.

This film has been in the coming attractions at the Alamo and Arbor Cinemas, and I've been longing to see it for what seems like months. WTF.

It opened at the Landmark Embarcadero in San Francisco yesterday, Fri., Jan. 6, 2017. So Landmark is going to be showing it all over. It's playing now at Landmark Sunshine in NYC. It will be expanding to more Landmark theaters this month, coming to the East Bay, and Chicago.

It's playing in a small cinema over here that specializes in showing "arthouse" movies that the bigger cinemas don't touch.

I just got an email announcing it on Amazon Prime, which brought me here. Sounds like a great movie!

Paterson opened this weekend at my local art-house theater here in Cincinnati. I couldn't wait to see it. It's a beautiful movie, on so many levels. And perhaps Adam Driver's best performance of his career to date (although he did quite nicely as well in Martin Scorsese's "Silence").

Update: nobody was showing this when it came out but one random theater finally decided to show it yesterday so I was able to see it.

reply

I'm glad to see you finally made it. I had to drive for an hour and a half just to get to the place where it was on... no regrets though lol

reply

We saw it in Charlottesville, Virginia, yesterday (Feb. 5). It was wonderful!

Landmark Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. Wonderful movie.

I will say that it's probably better if you are in a relaxed mood. I was pretty relaxed, but I did look at my watch several times.

Still, this is possibly my favorite movie of the year.
