Roch..Christianity is no better than all the other religions, where you have to believe 'men' that there is a god. "Faith" means you believe what men tell you about something you'll never get directly from the source. Unless, of course, you manifest it in your mind and falsely believe you somehow have a 'relationship' with a ghost. Honestly, I have FAITH that religious people are suckers. And that they self-reinforce their fantasies, with the help of people making a living fooling them. Religions are old because it was easier to fool people many centuries ago when religions began. Now people are just afraid not to believe.

Whole of NT pretty much is a story about to not follow common dogma, not listen to authority and walk in your own truth. That God and truth is within all people. Which means that a true "Christian" would be among the people that you cannot make a fool off. That doesn't mean there aren't a whole heap of people (including so called Christians) whom are easily fooled.
You can view it as a fantasy if that makes you feel better but if that "fantasy" makes someone feel awesome, dare to dream, loving their self for all that they are, then how is it a bad thing?
No anyone who doesn't have a friendly loving "Ghost" as their ally are the true suckers man and let me tell you why. That Ghost is the same thing as your loves (God is love the Bible says). So not walking with God means doing things and living a life you don't wanna and not doing the things you want to. This Ghost forgives your mistakes (cause you know you are going to heaven either way, not cause you read it but because you feel it) and gives you a lot of love if you pursue its wishes (that being your loves).
well that is my experience of faith.
True faith is not about believing in men, dogma or words written, it is about believing in yourself.
