Series 2

Good news for fans of "Witless" - the BBC have announced that they have ordered a second series of the comedy. It will consist of five episodes and pick up the story from the cliff-hanger ending of the first series.

Sorry, no information as to when this will be on our screens as of yet.

I have to say I am really pleased about that, I've really enjoyed this series. 😃

Yes, I did think it was taking the idea of an 'open ending' to extremes so interested to hear that.

I was wondering when the 6th episode was going to be airing!

I would also like to know about episode 6

Great news, love this show!

that's interesting. i really thought with this material there would only be 1 series. but i'm glad to get a second series

I didn't know how I'd feel about it at first, but I'm glad it's renewed. I have to know what happens!

Great cliffhanger ending, so glad to hear it's being picked up for S2. Reckon Jackie isn't dead.

It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!

Series 2 is now on BBC IPlayer

Honestly, it feels like this is akin to a typical US series with 20+ episodes but being dragged out over multiple years. Don't get me wrong it's one of the funniest things I've seen for ages, but I need a little resolution in my series, not constant cliffhangers. Regardless I@m completely onboard for season 3. Kerry Howard is a pure delight. Also, loving the performance of Francis Magee in series 2.

I certainly hope that there's a series 3. That's just too much of a cliffhanger ending.

There is!
