same outfit 2 days in a row ?

What I don't understand is why, since they make it clear each episode takes place over two days, do the contestants wear the same outfit both days?

Day 1: Signature Bake and Technical Challenge
Day 2: Showstopper

Yet they wear the same outfits both days each week....

OK, so you're probably going, "Is this like a Noxzema commercial or what?"

It was explained somewhere on the British show site. They make the contestants do that so as to ease the editing. It appears they may use reaction shots from one day in another days story.
