Wonderful film telling it like it is

This film has pathos and sensitivity that is so rare in modern cinema. It highlights the subtle - and not so subtle - racism of middle class Brazilians. When seemingly comfortable law-abiding people are steamrolled by the rich and powerful using any means possible to get their way, you come to an understanding as to how and why Brazil is in the abysmal state it is today. Cronyism, nepotism, corruption and plain bullying are all apparent in this film with workers the pawn of the powerful.

The acting and directing is superb. A must to see!
