"Props to Kwak aka the gormless but good natured Jong-Goo, a blundering cop who after a series of out-there antics, becomes somewhat badass." - $$$$

Jong-Goo's zany hijinx include:

- Being told a scary story by a colleague, then becoming overly wussed out by a thunder storm and woman standing outside the window.

- When yelled at by a superior after arriving late at a crime scene, Goo starts using his sick mother in law as an excuse. He then proceeds to wuss out big time as soon as it kicks off, leaving his colleagues to deal with it.

- Being lectured by his 8 year old daughter while he's sittin around actin fed up.

- Possibly due to incompetence on their part, Goo and his chum are now delegated to what looks like traffic duty on a tiny road where nothing's going on. Here, the dynamic duo are seen perched on a pair of rickety chairs, not even bothering to do anything about a girl along the road chucking stones at them. A few scenes later, chum now absent, Goo is tryin to chill on his smartphone, surrounded by stones.

- Zoning in on the subject of whether or not adults can wear diapers, and beginning to discuss it with his chum instead of questioning the witness.

- When he does finally turn his attention to the witness, Goo proceeds to ask him for an address of somewhere out in the middle of a forest.

- On a little sojourn to said forest, Goo causes the distressed witness to tumble down a hill, where he is subsequently struck by lightning.

I loved Jong-goo! The actor really did a great job being a nincompoop cop, and it all looked so natural! Some people have complained because of his antics, didn't like the character, but I thought he did a great job portraying a small-town cop out of his league, good -intentioned father-type.
