Whose bodies were... (spoiler)

There is a scene towards the end where the police find bodies in a well. Looks like two bodies, and one is definitely a woman, another is difficult to tell. The scene looks like it is a house where a shamanistic ritual was conducted (there are animal parts in the yard), so at first I thought something happened that was not yet explained and it is the policeman's family killed and thrown in the well. Who was it, really? Some other family, the family of one of the men who took part in killing the Japanese man, or the policeman's family after he promises his daughter to clean up after her killings? Sorry if it doesn't make much sense. I am completely confused :)

I could be wrong, as I don't remember the specific scene. But near the end, the Priest-in-training comes across the other policeman (the protagonists' partner), who has succumbed to the disease and presumably wiped out his family.

It was a very confusing scene but according to the subtitles, the woman pulled from the well was the wife of Park Chun Bae, the man reanimated in the woods. Apparently he owned the house(?)
