It's more about relationships

This show drives me crazy. It drives me crazy how HIM was mistreated emotionally by his bio dad, his step-dad, and step-mom. His bio-mom can't really do anything and is helpless. HIM is spiraling out of control more and more, but even if HIM did not have these powers, any kid that's mistreated this way would turn out to be angry and have all sorts of problems. The show, really, is pissing me off.

Yeah it's really upsetting isn't it?
I agree it's more about the struggles of bring a teen, feeling out of control, fractured families, not fitting anywhere, unwanted... And then this extra 'gift' just to make things harder :(

He wasn't unwanted. He or HIM had two (count 'em TWO) huggy/weepy scenes with his dad who did his damnedest to get his kid back in the family. And his mum risked her new relationship to keep faith with her son.

Yeah you're right... Actually I wrote that before those scenes were shown.

Maybe unwanted was the wrong word- he seemed caught in the middle between the 2 families and didn't seem to feel he had a place.
The step mum in particular was v unwelcoming.

Is that the end now? If so I thought it was a very disappointing ending.
