Holly Marie Combs' Acting

First movie for Holly Combs since 2007's "Point Of Entry/Panic Button"!
I have seen every movie and every show Holly has ever appeared in, and I believe Leah is one of the finest moments in her 30-year-long career.
Holly is such a great actress, and so seriously underrated. Her character was weak, insecure, weak-willed and lacked determination, and in my opinion, Holly portrayed her with a unique comedic way and a deep dramatic tone.
Do you agree with me?

Not really seen her before, but agree she played the character really well.

Although she obviously has other work, I hope she appears in some other Hallmark titles in the future.

One note though to future production staff, please, please, please, don't dress her in tight red dresses, they make her look dumpy.

Si vis pacem, para bellum

I actually believe that the red dress eally suited her!

it actually looked better than I'd have expected, but obviously a ludicrously stupid choice for that function, and preposterous that that character would wear that, to that occasion..

Frankly I don't think dresses that short are a good choice for anybody even, even those with very good undercarriages, which, you know, is not her forte....

Someone's not a "Charmed" or "Pretty Little Liars" or "Pickets Fences" fan!

Like the red dress.

reply

Agree about the red dress. She looked very uncomfortable.

she's a jeans girl...always her best look in Charmed and various publicity shots..

You might be a tad bit biased ... me too ... Piper was my favorite.

I don't think this was a great film but it was overall, forgive me, charming. She helped a lot, but the group stuff did as well. The bf was pretty dull though -- sort of a strawman. But, it's Hallmark. Don't expect high art.

The character was tailored made for her "type," but she did well. Happy to see her in another one in the future. Be the brunette Alicia Witt.

I've been a fan of Holly Marie Combs for over 20 years. While I think the red dress was a bit short, she rocked it. Being over 40, she is still a stunning goddess. She's real. Not some over-hyped Hollywood Starlet. She also isn't a plastic surgery victim/freak of nature like the Kardashiwhores.
