who actually killed Billy Ryan? They said it wasn't the nephew since he just found the body when he went to place a bet? I watched it with two other people and somehow none of us knew who the killer was.

I actually posted it just once, not sure why it popped up three times. Unfortunately the movie is not interesting enough to watch again. We did rewind the last part a couple of times when they were rehashing the case, but none of us heard the identity of the killer. Sorry, if I thought someone would be nice enough to provide the information and not criticize.

That's not possible for the last posting (look at the time stamps, #1 @10:19 AM, #2 @ 10:29 AM 10 minutes later, and #3 @ 5:27 PM almost 7 hours later).

Sorry, if I thought someone would be nice enough to provide the information and not criticize.

If I just wanted to criticize you I would have done the usual call you a name and would not have provided a link for you to re-watch it for free. I elect to not call people names and offered you self-help if you chose to use it. Since you didn't find the movie interesting enough to FF through to answer your own question, it's curious why you posted and re-posted the question. Even with my low-speed connection it took less than 10 minutes to click on the link and skip to the last 5 minutes of the movie to see who did what- and who got arrested.

To answer your question w/o spoiling it for everyone else, the key scene begins at 1:18:00 on the linked movie where Shields is on the floor at gunpoint. You'll have to pay attention to what is said and perhaps make an inference.

Speaking of spoiling it, what you are asking for is a spoiler and often members don't post those here for fear of ruining the movie for others.

Actually it must be possible for it to be a glitch, because I didn't get back on here until I was told I got a response. Plus I work till 5:30 p.m., so I definitely wasn't on the site at 5:27 p.m.

Also I marked my post as a spoiler, so people would know to avoid.

I do remember that conversation, but I thought they also said Billy was already dead when the person arrived there?

It appears you're not familiar with how the message board operates, so I'll offer some free advice so as to help you in future posts. Posts must be marked as spoiler in the title, or the spoiler formatting can be used for text you type in the body. Your title is repeated in every reply, it ("Must have missed something...") says nothing about a spoiler, and there was no spoiler formatting in the message.

You can use the spoiler formatting as you would for bold, italic, links, quotes, etc. All you need do is highlight the text and click the proper button above.

Here's another example:
The two people (Buzz and I think the other one was Tom, don't really recall right now- he owned the nursery) holding Shields in the basement talked about the murder. Buzz alluded to the killing and Tom acknowledged it (I think he said something like I don't want another mess). Shields also accused Buzz as having committed it, and this was not denied.
