Painfully difficult to watch

I'm a dyed in the wool Hallmark Holiday movie junkie. I love Thanksgiving night so I can begin my 2 a night binge right up until New Years. I have my favorites, which get 2 tivo thumbs up, and sometimes I choose one of those to watch in July (but just one). But then there are the clunkers. Those I watch once, add a thumbs down and fill with relief that I'll never have to see that awfulness ever again. This is one of those. The 2 leads are undeniably gorgeous, but the stilted wooden acting, lack of chemistry and weak storyline made the whole production feel awkward or rushed or just fulfilling a commitment that none of the principles care about. If you give it a miss, you'll miss not a thing.

Merry Christmas!

To me you are the teacher in a Charlie Brown cartoon

Spot on!

Yeah it was terrible. Unbelievable plot, even for an xmas TV movie. My wife hated it also. At least the lead actress was hot.

This was painful to watch. Why on earth did they cast the lead actress? She is quite possibly the very worst actress I have ever seen, even keeping in mind it is a Hallmark movie. I love the cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies, but she makes it incredibly difficult to watch.

I can only hope she used the money she earned making this to take some acting lessons. Props to the lead actor, for managing to act off a partner who isn't giving much.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who felt this way about the movie! I still don't know why I suffered through all 2 hours of it ? both male and female leads were awful with their acting and this movie had the potential to be cute! I just want this movie remade the right way.

Agreed. Bad all the way around.

My fiance loves hallmark movies so I watch quite a few. I thought this one was awful. I was rooting against the two main characters. Their relationship felt like a high school romance where communication doesn't need to exist, but instead of it ending with prom, it ended with a marriage. Seriously? I was rooting for Jared to come in and bring some stability and maturity to her life. Show her how a man who actually cares about someone acts. Instead she married a man she didn't trust two days before and a man that didn't talk to her for many years.

My heart was not warmed. The ultimate sign of a failed Hallmark movie.

It's terrible! There were moments the acting and storyline had a comical porn vibe to it. For example...when she's reading the book to the kids while wearing a very short skirt and he's spying through the door. It didn't seem sweet.

All these comments are spot on, especially the cheesy porn vibe. Usually enjoy HM but this one just makes me cringe. 1/2 way through but erasing it off DVR,and hopefully off my memory too. Lol.
