Yet another utterly mediocre crapfest from the great russian movie industry. You guessed it. It's about THE WAR.
Even the jews don't crap out nearly as much holocaust films as the russians and their never ending war glorification of garbage quality.
Well, *beep* The war was definetly a highlight of their past and still is pronounced in their national identity today, as for your displeasure of the approached theme of the movie, there are plenty movies that are not about ww2 for you to enjoy. Regarding the quality of this movie: Yes, it is insanely low budget, but if you think about it for a minute, it came out amazing for the said budget, looking authentic and well-made. If you compare a simmilar budgeted Hollywood movie with this movie, it(P 28) will come on top with no effort.
