Very cheap

I'm a lover of great biblical movies and tv series such as : the passion of the Christ , Ben Hur ( old and new ) , the rock , even the Spartacus TVs series , gladiator , but this is a real cheaply made effort , really really disappointing movie , with an cast a very self proclaimed Christian : Adam Baldwin who plays a very very laughable Nero ( who anyone who knows about history was a complete insane phycho path ) the sets are very cheaply made , everybody is dressed immaculate , and absolutely clean , doesn't feel authentic in any way , poorly acted , JRD gives an okay portrayal of Peter , but again even after being supposedly tortured and whipped , still remains well dressed , clean shaven , and starts baptising people in prison .
This could've been a fascinating and great topic for a movie , but by and larger when compared to others ie : gladiator , the tomb , Peter the redemption will just be a footnote in movie history and one of lows of 2016 ...... Shame could've been a great movie !
