Tell me that's not a tribute of sorts to Malachor V from KOTOR.

LOL, yeah, could be. Then again, Malachor V was 100% Exile + Bao-Dur. Revan got delayed by some scouts and never even entered the battle. It probably would be against Revan's plan anyway, seeing as how he was supposedly preparing the Republic for the real Sith and the real war, and he could have used a Mandalorian Armada, when push would come to shove.

(Why do I even remember that stuff?)

Because it was a phenomenal game with a great story! Too bad it will never see the big screen, or have a continuation.
