At least there were a couple laughs in this episode, that's more than the season premiere. It's just too over the top. eff was really the only good thing about tonight's episode.
shareThis show continues to frustrate, there were some amusing moments in this episode - such as mistaking a customer in the Indian Restaurant for a waiter. Yet again we get another couple of friends from the central characters university days popping up randomly with some amusing misunderstandings and embarrassing situations.
However, so many of the comedy situations that occur in this show are so unoriginal. Beattie Edmondson pulls off an amusing performance of someone who has eaten something way beyond their tolerance level for spicy hot food as Kate tries to show off how well-travelled and knowledgeable she is about ethnic cuisine - but that is one of many jokes across the first couple of episodes of this second series that feels like it has been lifted from a 1970s sitcom.
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is this week's celebrity guest in a brief walk-on spot at the end of the episode.
