Just finished watching

I didn't like the end.

There was no need and didn't add anything that Olivia was the daughter of the murdered woman. I mean, if she knew that some time along the season it could have contributed emotionally to the drama but at the very end what is the use?

How is it that the police didn't know Olivia was the murdered woman's daughter?

Why her mother didn't tell her?

I agree!
And already on the boat in episode 2, Nils Wendt saw resemblances between the faces of his late girl-friend and Olivia. Why he remained passive nevertheless?

And weird:
- Olivia never crossed the path with her fellow students, who also had the same assignment. Now it looks like if only she is trying to solve the cold-case.
- How Nils Wendt and his car did land in the river? As the bridge wasn't damaged, and both riverbanks were full of trees and shrubby. So no traces of this car at the riverbanks either.
- Why after her death Tom Silton moved to Vera's caravan, despite she had told him that the local authorities would remove this caravan on Monday?
- The link between the corrupt cop Forss and the prostitute Jackie Berglund will be solved in a next season?

Pathetic writing full of non credible coincidences like Olivia and Wendt being in the same beach in the island at the same time... I agree with the end.
